Travelling from Schiphol to Rotterdam has never been quicker or easier, thanks to the high speed rail service, taking between 25 minutes and 45 minutes in total. When you arrive at Schiphol Airport, you will find the train station located just below the airport. The station is well signed and easy to find. When you arrive, you should make your way to the arrivals area and you’ll notice there are some lifts and escalators. You just need to follow those and you will reach the platforms.

How to Purchase Your Tickets

There is a ticket office on site at the station where you can purchase your Schiphol to Rotterdam tickets. The train line runs regularly throughout the day, giving you the flexibility to plan your travel as you wish. When you have purchased your tickets, be sure to double-check the platform number so that you are absolutely sure which platform your train departs from. You will see escalators leading down and each one will take you to a different platform, so it’s important that you are sure which platform you need before you get on the escalator. The details of the next departures from each platform are shown on screens at the top of the escalators and there is an information booth available where you can check the departure details of your train.

Other Facilities

If you need to exchange cash, travellers’ cheques or withdraw money from a cash machine, then there are plenty of facilities to use on site. ABN AMRO, one of the main European banks, has several offices in the airport which are situated in the passenger area. The bank is open between 08:00 and 20:00 each day although it would be wise to check the Schiphol Airport website for opening hours and exact locations.
