The Top Business-Friendly Bars in Amsterdam

2 Min Read

Over the last ten years, Amsterdam has become one of Europe’s best destinations for lovers of upmarket food and drink places. The Dutch capital now has a fantastic selection of trendy and classy bars which are ideal for a relaxing evening if you’re out there on business.

New bars are opening all the time, all with their own unique identity and decor inside. There are some with incredible views of the capital, whilst others celebrate all things green with some natural beauty inside.

Café Panache

Café Panache is hidden away within the Ten Katemarkt, so it isn’t the easiest bar to find. Once you get there, however, you won’t be disappointed. It’s divided into separate restaurant and bar areas, though there is a great bar within the restaurant too. This is the best place to enjoy a delicious cocktail and maybe grab a bite to eat surrounded by the wonderful decor of wood, plants and bird cages hanging from the ceiling.

Lion Noir

A great place to visit during the summer, Lion Noir has a wonderful terrace area which is ideal for a drink in the sunshine. The colours inside the bar are pleasingly natural, delicately combining greens and browns to create a welcoming atmosphere. The bar area also features an enormous snake skeleton, which is worth a look.

Bluespoon

This is perhaps the best bar in Amsterdam if you’re looking for a great glass of champagne, and the decor here is simply stunning. You’ll find the classy velvet and striking blue chandeliers of Bluespoon in the Andaz Hotel, where the beauty is truly in the details of this gorgeous bar.

SkyLounge

The views here are breathtaking, and whilst the prices will probably also take your breath away (it’s not cheap!), you won’t be disappointed by a visit here. The bar area is surrounded by windows which go from the floor to the ceiling and look out onto the beautiful landscape of Amsterdam. If the weather is good, stepping out onto the terrace will only add to the magic of the view.
