Roll Up for the 2018 What Van? Awards

2 Min Read

As transport industry awards go, the What Van? Awards is amongst the most high profile, attracting more than 200 of the industry’s most influential players from fleet managers to chief executives.

This year’s ceremony – due to be held at The Brewery, London, in December – looks likely to carry on the tradition of combining a fun networking event with a display of some of the very best light goods vehicles on the market.

Set up more than a decade ago, the annual gongs have become one of the key transport industry awards in most fleet managers’ calendars. Celebrating areas across more than 16 categories, the plaudits cover all aspects of the transport and light commercial vehicle market.

What the Day Will Involve

The ceremony, which is a full day of celebration and consideration of some of the best light goods vehicles of 2017, kicks off with a champagne reception at 12.30pm to welcome the guests and allow time for networking and catching up with old friends.

Before lunch, guests will take their seats for an address by the editor of What Van? Magazine, James Dallas, who will talk about the industry and the cutting edge developments he has witnessed over the last 12 months. The editor’s opening address will be followed by a three-course lunch during which guests can relax and enjoy the company at their tables.

At 2.30pm the ceremony will begin, with all gongs and Highly Commended certificates being handed out to industry leaders. Following the ceremony, and a closing speech thanking all those involved, there will be further time for networking and mingling as industry professionals enjoy a few drinks in a relaxed, fun environment.
