Protein Brownies.

Even the most old school of Doctors these days, admit that we need less sugars, and more proteins in our diets. Sugars invite illnesses such as diabetes and cellular damage. We do not want zero carbohydrates, but we certainly want less. The reason for increasing the protein is we are made of proteins, and also proteins convert to blood sugar slowly. That offers us a more sustained energy over a period of hours, and less hunger in between meals. The problem is, it has taken years to figure out great baking recipes that help us enjoy what we eat while adding protein and lower over all sugar description. This post will offer advice on a yummy brownie recipe that satisfies the tooth, while nourishing the body with sustained blood glucose levels, instead of the sugar high of the old days. Do not worry about the beans in this recipe. Tasteless in the end, but a texture you will appreciate.

So let’s start with one can of chick peas, poured out and properly rinsed.

Then one fourth cup of unsweetened cocoa powder.

Two scoops of double chocolate whey protein powder.

One half cup of natural, real peanut butter.

One fourth cup unsweetened almond milk.

One egg white.

One teaspoon baking powder.

So, then we will preheat our oven to 350. In a blender, we will blend all of our ingredients until super smooth.

Line our baking tray, pour all into the tray, and bake for approx fifteen minutes. Remove, and let cool.

All of is have had bad experiences with protein snack, partly because they are so restricted in taste. This recipe will help change all of that. Protein powders really have come a long way in offering us tastes that are more acceptable to us, and more traditional in flavors. Learning to use high protein beans in baking, has helped us to recapture more familiar textures to our higher protein snacks and bread stuffs. Learning to use sweeteners such as stevia, have changed to playing field when it comes to enjoying less sugars in our baked goods.

We need brownies, and cookies, and our banana breads. These items can be of great service to us nutritionally, if we just keep experimenting with recipes, and final results.
