Pune, India (November 28, 2017) – Devaki Deshpande is a young, upcoming playback singer who is making waves in the Indian music industry. The latest Marathi song of the promising newcomer has just been released, and it is titled “Re Sakhyaâ€. The song has been composed by Priya.
A classically trained singer Devaki, loves singing Western songs as well. She has sung a duet with renowned Bollywood Singer Javed Ali for the song “Ajunhi” that is a part of a Marathi movie. She has sung the Dev More composed single “Manaat kaahi Raahile”, and many other songs for private albums for Wynk music, Hungama music app and more. Her cover versions for the Bollywood hits “Enna Sona†and “Aane wala Pal†on the Kroonerz project on YouTube are getting close to 100,000 views.
Devaki had most of her Singing and Music training at Pune based Devs Music Academy. At a young age, she has over 100 shows to her credit. She has worked with various composers, although most of her songs are with musician Dev More. Many of her songs have been written by Valay Mulgund, the eminent lyricist from the Marathi Film Industry.
When asked about what her aims in her singing career are, Devaki says that music is her life and she looks out to working with expert music composers and singing songs that challenge her as an artist. She is indeed a singer to watch out for, and one hopes she achieves greater heights in her career in music in the future.
