Croatia is a place known for its natural beauty, as well as its unique variety of European culture. It has more recently become renowned as a much-loved holiday destination due to its silky blue seas, magical coastlines and its impressive range of accommodation options. However, it can be difficult sometimes to find the perfect place for the perfect holiday, so we have put together some of our favourite luxury holiday resorts in Croatia to help you make sure that your accommodation is as wonderful as the destination.
Amadria Capital Heritage Park Hotel, Zagreb
Starting with a property in the nation’s capital city, the Amadria Capital Heritage Park in Zagreb is a relatively new addition to Croatia’s burgeoning hotel scene. Though the building was originally constructed in the 1920s, its recent refurbishment has transformed it into a startling five-star success. Combining the intricate and beautiful opulence of early twentieth-century European design with modern luxury and technology, the hotel right at the heart of Croatian culture inspires both sophistication and luxury.
Though it boasts an exceptional restaurant, bar café and exclusive boutique shop, perhaps the best thing about the Amadria Capital Heritage Park is its location; just seconds away from hundreds of Zagreb’s famous shops, restaurants and cafes.
Hotel Park, Split
The Hotel Park is something a little more remote, for those holiday-makers searching for the more secluded luxury resorts in Croatia. It is situated just down the road from the old city of Split and boasts a huge range of exceptional amenities making it one of our favourite resorts in Croatia. It has a brilliant on-site restaurant and an elegant piano bar where guests can get a drink and relax in front of views of the glistening Adriatic Sea. The rooms themselves are particularly well equipped, including:
•Air-conditioning
•Blackout curtains
•Signature bedding and toiletries by Roberto Cavalli
There is a range of activities to do in and out of the property and the city of Split itself. Our particular highlights include stopping off at the Priska Spa, with its salt room, VIP jacuzzi and sauna, or taking a dip in the turquoise sea at Bacvice Beach, just metres away from the property.
Hotel Monte Mulini, Rovinj
The Hotel Monte Mulini is renowned amongst resorts in Croatia for its unbeatable natural seascape views and its in-house restaurant Mediteraneo which is considered one of the premier spots for fine-dining in Croatia. There are many luxury features on show here, including a pool with swim-up bar, extensive wine selection and beautiful décor. However, its wellness centre is a particular highlight, featuring a gym, flotation tank and a range of personal trainers and massage therapists.
Rooms come with balconies or terraces, perfect for looking out over the Adriatic’s coastline after a long day of exploring the surrounding areas by bike or foot, or just simply relaxing and taking in the warm breeze and local Croatian culture.
It’s easy to understand why this country has so quickly become one of the world’s premier holiday destinations. There is a growing number of high-quality resorts in Croatia to give your holiday a touch of luxury.
